LVMDP stands for Low Voltage Main Distribution Panel, which means that the LVMDP electrical panel works on low voltage and serves as the main divider of power distribution of installations throughout the building and vicinity.
The LVMDP panel acts as a power transformer and transforms the power further into the Low voltage sub distribution (LVSDP) panel, using Air Circuit Breaker or Molded Case Circuit Breakers.
